Pets 101 has a No-Kill cat and kitten adoption center. Pets 101 rescues cats and kittens from unwanted homes in and around Winnipeg. All of our animals receive an initial veterinary checkup from Birchwood Animal Hospital. While at Pets 101 the animals receive plenty of opportunities for socialization and exercise in our adoption playroom, where the animals have a large room to themselves with a floor to ceiling carpeted jungle gym! All of our animals receive high quality food, fresh water and soft beds.
Pets 101 employees work hard to find our animals appropriate permanent homes where they will be cared for and treasured for life.
The Pets 101 staff believe our adoptions are a commitment entered into for life. Animals are not disposable, temporary or a matter of convenience. Pets 101 will provide knowledgeable information to help you connect with RIGHT cat for you and your family. If you see a cat that appeals to you, check with our staff and they will let you know everything they about that animal and can discuss how it will fit into your home. If you have another pet or other people that should meet the cat prior to adoption, let us know, and we’ll help you make arrangements for that too. Also we can give you some practical advice on how to introduce a new pet into a multi-pet household.
All adopted animals from Pets 101 come with their first shots, are de-wormed, receive a vet check-up and health certificate, and they are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age.
